Planning a tile floor in Edmonton
Tile is only as good as what's under it. Before we quote, we look at the subfloor: how flat it is, how much it flexes, and whether it's concrete or wood. Large-format tile in particular needs a very flat surface. Edmonton's dry winters and freeze-thaw cycles are hard on entries and anything outdoors, so we talk through where the tile is going, what the room is used for, and how it will be cleaned. Our tile and stone flooring page explains how we plan and install tile.
