Built for Edmonton's climate

Seasonal temperature changes and dry winters affect some materials, particularly natural wood. Engineered hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, tile and quality laminate are popular because of their stability. If you choose hardwood, keeping indoor humidity in a sensible range and letting it acclimate before installation helps protect it.

Residential flooring FAQs

How long does installation take?

Many residential installs are finished within a few days. Size, material, removal, subfloor condition, stairs and transitions all affect timing; we'll give you a timeline after reviewing your project.

Do I need to prepare my home?

Usually furniture needs moving and belongings cleared from the work area, and some products need to acclimate inside first. We'll tell you exactly what to do before install day.

Can new flooring go over my existing floor?

Sometimes. It depends on the new product, the existing floor, its condition, height differences and manufacturer requirements. Our installers will inspect it and recommend.

Can I visit the showroom before committing?

Yes! We encourage all clients to explore flooring samples and talk with our team first.

Do you remove old flooring?

Absolutely. We handle removal and disposal as part of the service.
