The easiest way to narrow it down is to start with the room, not the product.

Wet or below-grade rooms. Basements, laundry rooms and entries usually point toward the stone core planks or the sheet vinyl. Both are vinyl products that shrug off a mop and a spill, and sheet vinyl comes in such wide rolls that a small room may have no seam at all.

Main floors where you want the real thing. If only genuine wood will do, Floresta is worth a look. It pairs a wood veneer with a stone core, so it clicks together like a vinyl plank instead of being glued or stapled.

Rentals, suites and budget-conscious projects. The thinner luxury vinyl lines are a practical way to refresh a space. We'll talk you through the trade-offs in thickness and wear layer when you see them in person.
