Can hardwood floors be refinished instead of replaced?
Often, yes. If the floor is scratched, dull, faded or showing normal wear but is structurally sound, refinishing can restore it.
Can you change the colour of my floors?
In many cases. Staining or natural oils can darken, lighten or neutralize the tone; options depend on the species and condition.
Do you remove baseboards?
Usually not. We typically refinish with baseboards in place.
When can we walk on the floors?
Wait 24–48 hours for cure time before moving furniture back or walking in shoes.
How long does the process take?
Most jobs take 2–4 days depending on size and drying times.
Is it messy or dusty?
We use professional dust containment systems to minimize disruption during sanding.
