Choosing a floor
Which flooring suits your Edmonton home?
The right floor depends on the room and how you live in it. Here is the advice our team gives most often at our flooring store.
Basements
Luxury vinyl plank, tile and some laminates handle moisture and temperature changes well. We check the concrete and subfloor before we install.
Kitchens and baths
Porcelain and ceramic tile suit wet areas. Luxury vinyl plank is a lower-maintenance option with strong moisture resistance.
Homes with pets
Vinyl plank, tile and durable laminate are easy to clean and stand up to everyday wear from dogs and cats.
Living rooms and bedrooms
Hardwood and engineered hardwood bring real wood. Edmonton's dry winters make engineered hardwood the more stable choice. Carpet stays a favourite for bedrooms.
